Social Emotional Learning & Mentorship Programs!

Social-emotional learning is crucial for high school students, complementing academic achievements with skills necessary for college and career readiness. SEL enhances attitudes, relationships, mental health, and academic performance, contributing significantly to post-secondary success.

Thru these concepts, both our students, parent stakeholders and staff build capacity to acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships.

To augment the delivery of these skills, we have partnered with the Chicago Public School Options Network, as well as several ISBE-certified vendors to deliver both professional development & programming opportunities to support our work. Our current partnership with the Alternative Schools Network (YMP, RSP, IYIP and COMPASS TX programs) allow our staff to engage students and provide timely social emotional, employment and mentoring wraparound supports for our students.
